Coming in 2026!
2026 Noxious Weed Cost-Share Program
Mesa Conservation District, in collaboration with RiversEdge West and the Mesa County Noxious Weed & Pest Management Department, is proud to announce the anticipated 2026 launch of our Noxious Weed Management Cost-Share Program.
This program will provide financial assistance, technical guidance, and educational support to help private landowners identify, control, and manage noxious weeds on their properties. Through cost-share reimbursements of up to 50%, landowners can take part in restoring native plant communities and protecting soil, water, and wildlife habitat.
Participants will receive on-site consultations, customized Noxious Weed Management Plans, and access to regionally adapted native seed provided through our program. The initiative also includes a free educational workshop co-hosted by MCD, RiversEdge West, and Mesa County Noxious Weed staff to introduce best management practices and treatment alternatives.
Together, we’re working to reduce invasive species across our District and support healthy, resilient landscapes for the future.
Applications open in early 2026
