Mesa Conservation District Annual Landowner Meeting & Local Work Group
Join us on Wednesday, March 18th, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Confluence Center of Colorado for an evening of connection, updates, and regional conservation discussion. Hear reflections from Mesa Conservation District, learn about upcoming programs, and participate in the NRCS-led Local Work Group where your input helps guide future funding and priorities. The evening will also feature a 2026 Snow and Hydrology Forecast presentation by NRCS Colorado Snow Survey Supervisor Brian Domonkos. Dinner will be provided, and all landowners and community members are encouraged to attend and share their voices.
Attendance is FREE, but you must RSVP using the link below by March 16th.

City of Grand Junction: Greywater Design and Installation Course
Join the City of Grand Junction for a free one-day class on graywater design and installation!
This is a free 8-hour class with a provided boxed lunch. Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance from Red Rocks Community College
The event will host a Graywater specialist to teach the basics of designing, installing, and maintaining a graywater system.

Colorado State University Viticulture Extension: Grapevine Pruning Workshop
The CSU Viticulture Extension is holding a two-part workshop on Grapevine Pruning!
The course will cover pruning basics and backyard grape growing, and is $20 to cover equipment and materials.
Join Charlotte Oliver for a hands-on workshop that covers trellising and why we prune, as well as individual coaching in the vineyard to help you become more comfortable working with grapes.

March 12th (Thursday) 6:00 PM - 1 hour session held virtually via Zoom to explain vine parts, growing habits, trellising basics, and pruning theory. Session is recorded and will be provided to attendees.
March 14th (Saturday) 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM In-vineyard session at the CSU Western Campus building and vineyard for hands-on training for pruning and bud health assessments.
