Holly Stanley
Executive Director
I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of Mesa Conservation District with a strong commitment to advancing conservation and protecting the long-term health of our region’s natural resources. My experience working closely with producers, landowners, and local partners, along with my degree in Environmental Science and Technology, Biology, and a professional certificate in Sustainable Practice, allows me to build strong District collaborations, innovation, and practical outcomes that benefit our community and landscape.
Since stepping into this role, I am proud to have developed and implemented major initiatives that have strengthened the District’s capacity and broadened its reach. These include the development of the Delta-Mesa Colorado Master Irrigator Program, the Grand Valley Water Committee, Soil Health Programming, and various education and outreach efforts tailored to support and serve our landowner and agricultural community.
These regionally tailored initiatives equip producers with practical tools to improve water efficiency and operational sustainability. Bring together stakeholders across sectors to address critical issues such as water availability, infrastructure, and ecological health. As will provide critical resources to help community members in implementing practices that improve soil health, boost productivity, and enhance environmental resilience. Bringing these efforts into our District has been a key step in elevating natural resource and water management as a shared, community-driven priority.
Mesa Conservation District is proud to be a trusted partner for local producers and landowners. I am grateful for the opportunity to grow our impact, deepen engagement, and champion meaningful conservation solutions across the Western Slope.
