Isabella Zasrow (Bella)

District Manager

Hi! I am Bella, and I am beyond excited to join the Mesa Conservation District as the District Manager. After growing up in Grand Junction, I moved to Fort Collins, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology and a Master's of Science in Conservation Leadership from Colorado State University. About 5 years ago, I returned to the Grand Valley to reconnect with the people, agriculture, and public lands of the Western Slope. I have spent several years working with nonprofits and government agencies to center grassroots voices in environmental decision-making, and am deeply passionate about building powerful community-led conservation programs. As the District Manager, I am excited to expand MCD’s base of local relationships while streamlining the organization's programs. I volunteer as a steering committee member for the Southern Rockies Conservation Alliance and RiversEdge West.

In my free time, you can find me hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, fishing, and spending as much time as possible in my garden.
