Board of Supervisors Openings

Mesa Conservation District is currently seeking committed and community-minded individuals to fill two open seats on our Board of Supervisors. We are especially interested in applicants with backgrounds in agriculture, accounting, or business management.

Celebrate and Support Local Conservation!

On August 4, 1937, the nation’s first soil conservation district was established in North Carolina by Hugh Hammond Bennett, widely regarded as the father of the conservation movement. To honor this historic milestone, Mesa Conservation District is launching a Month of Giving!

Now more than ever, protecting our natural resources and sustaining our agricultural heritage is vital. You can celebrate with us and support local conservation efforts simply by dining at participating local businesses.

Join MCD at Chipotle on Saturday, August 2nd from 4 pm-8 pm. In order for MCD to receive a donation from Chipotle, customers must show the cashier the flyer (below) or mention that they are here to support the fundraiser. Order online through the Chipotle website or app using code TWCCYYK.

Need a Sunday lunch or dinner idea? Join MCD at ModPizza on Sunday, August 3rd, all day!
