I decided to join the Mesa Conservation District after attending a board meeting and witnessing the myriad project ideas being discussed with such energy, enthusiasm, and expertise of the newly formed Board. Once I learned more, I felt drawn to the mission of the Conservation District to enhance conservation practices locally through education, outreach, and community involvement. I am personally and professionally interested in engineered conservation and sustainability improvements, and love that the Conservation District is an avenue to connect with the community to implement these projects. I want to help people in our community access practical, physical solutions to improve conservation and sustainability through my involvement in the Mesa Conservation District.
